Murrells Inlet, the “quaint fishing village”, is rooted in history and ghost stories. The town was officially named Murrells Inlet is 1913 by the post office, but the history goes back hundreds of year. Legend has it that Blackbeard roamed around the land that is now Murrells Inlet and buried some treasure here!
