Deerfield Plantation is located in the center of Surfside Beach. For those people familiar with Surfside Beach, Deerfield Plantation spans from Hwy. 544 to Glenns Bay Road and Business 17 north to Bypass 17. Within the neighborhood, there are single family homes, townhouses and condos. What can you do in Surfside Beach? Plenty! Near Deerfield Plantation, there are batting cages (several different batting levels are available so everyone can enjoy the fun!), putt-putt golf courses, 18-hole golf courses, driving ranges, a bark park for your four-legged friends, local shops and, of course, the beautiful Atlantic ocean. Surfside Beach has many restaurants as well. If you are looking for a quick, casual dinner, I recommend Hamburger Joe’s for hot dogs and hamburgers (then you could hit the batting cages). If seafood is more to your liking, try the buffet at Crabby Mike’s. You can always grab a quick sandwich at McAlister’s Deli or New Jersey Mike’s (both off Bypass 17). Starbuck’s opened a few months ago so you’ll never be without a good cup of coffee!
