As 2022 comes to a close, I want to send a BIG THANK YOU to my clients!!!
2022 was another crazy year in real estate (possibly the craziness real estate year on record)! If you were a buyer or seller this year, you know the market was not for the faint of heart. Buyers saw multiple offers on almost every property and decisions had to be made in minutes and hours not days. Sellers received multiple offers on their properties within a few days. You might think multiple offers would be a wonderful problem to have, but it can be very overwhelming!
This year in my newsletter, I tried to convey the “Tales Behind the Transactions”. The story behind the sale is what makes my job one of the best jobs! Clients this year included sellers moving closer to family, sellers of primary residences taking advantage of unprecedented equity in their home and second homeowners selling to claim the equity in their home to help with retirement. Investors were able to sell here and use a 1031 exchange to move on to another investment property in another market. Properties were sold to move up to larger, newer homes. Sellers moved for job opportunities and buyers realized their dreams of having an ocean front second home or leaving cold winters behind for the beach.
Each of my clients this year were either past clients, personal friends or friends of my clients. Having clients trust me for multiple purchases or sales or referring their friends to me means the world to me!! Thank you for the trust year after year!!
Also, thank you for the flexibility. Bo (affectionately called my real estate sidekick) is now a 2-year old and was at home for the first part of the year until he started school in August. Showings had to happen when Dad was off of work or grandparents could babysit. His little voice or noises of him playing in the background could sometimes be heard on calls. Thank you for your patience and understanding!!
